FSCM9.2 on PT 8.53

Hello All,
I did a fresh installation of FSCM9.2 database on PT 8.53 . My installation details are below.

O/s Windows 7 64 bit

DB : Oracle 11g enterprise edition 32 bit

Tools : PT8.53

Application FSCM9.2

Tuxedo : 11gR1_VS2010

Weblogic 10.3.6

I have sucesffully populated PS tables thru datamover using SYSADM and able to log in using VP1 in application designer as well. Iam facing while trying to boot the application server using VP1 as user id and password . Same happens with PRCS as well. No issues in configuring weblogic and booting webserver. Iam able to see the log on screen.

32-bit databases are not supported.
Windows 7 is not supported platform server component (although many here have it at work)

PT 8.53 for Windows is now 64-bit and 64-bit drivers required. Development tools (Data Mover and App Designer) are still 32 bit and 32 bit drivers require why they work.

I recommend to install the 64-bit database server and restore or use datapump to migrate the database. You will still need both groups of drivers if you are performing all from one machine. Can possibly get it working by installing on 64 bit client, but again, I would recommend closer to supported config to avoid other problems.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Iam back with a 64-bit edition corporation. Can you tell me how to install the 32 bit client of Oracle 11 g Psora make a mistake. Is it a separate installation path for the Oracle home and the needs of the variable to 32 bits 64 bits?

As said earlier, you need 64bit database server software. But for client tools (AppDesigner, DataMover), you need the 32bit Oracle librairies.
Install the server software in one Oracle home, the client in a separate Oracle home, specify when installing the software.

You need to change the path to make sure that the 32-bit Connectivity is listed first, then 64.

This will allow both to work on the same machine.
