Error while trying to access reports through View log/trace

Issue

Reports were getting posted to Reports folder configured under PeopleTools-> Process Scheduler-> Report Nodes correctly, and process status goes to Success/Posted too. But while trying to access reports through View log/trace, 404- page not found error is thrown. (This error may differ from browser to browser)

Solution

There are a couple of points to verify to resolve this issue.

1) Check your Report Nodes configuration. (Navigation: PeopleTools-> Process Scheduler-> Report Nodes)

  •  Use Ftp/XCopy Option
  • URL ID should follow this format
