Can anyone share how their tip credit code is setup and how it works? Any help
with FLSA setup for tipped earners would be greatly appreciated. I am spinning
my wheels trying to get the system to calculate our OT rate per FLSA for tipped
employees (hrly rate less than min. wage). PeopleBooks calls the tip credit a
'memo earnings' so it sounds like it should not add to gross. A support person
I spoke to had the code setup to add to gross earnings; which is correct? Also,
where is the tip credit amount coming from/where do you have the tip credit
calculated? Is it done in a T&L system, PS or other, or will PS NA Payroll
calculate this?
